Florida Property and Casualty Insurance Fraud Task Force
COMMITTEES
The Florida Property Insurance Fraud Task Force has four committees all of which play an important role in supporting the task force in fighting insurance fraud.
CLAIMS
​This committee focuses on how fraud affects claims and looks at ways that fraud can be deterred and fought in the claims process.
UNDERWRITING
​​The Underwiting committee looks at the insurance application process and forms that are used and how changes in how insurance is written can lead to a reduction in insurance fraud.
LEGISLATIVE
​​The legislative committee looks at current Statues, Rule and Codes and identifies how legislation effects insurance fraud .
PUBLIC AWARENESS
​The Public Awareness and Outreach Committee looks at ways to Inform the insurance consumers and citizens of Florida on how insurance fraud effects them.
